Public transport in Normandy

Getting around by bus

All larger towns have a bus station (gare routiere) and generally connections from town to town are good with frequent travelling times. Connections into the villages in countryside still exist but they tend to travel less frequently e.g. in the morning and evening.

Getting around by train

Larger towns are connected by the state railway the sncf, Tel. 08 92 353535 7-22, 0.34 Euro / minute. For regional journeys you are looking at the TER Transport Express Regionaux, all stations have a booklet with times and connections. www.ter-sncf.com
